EXPERIENCE

Media Monitoring for CA By-Election, 2009

I worked as a Co-ordinator (Programme) in Media Monitoring Programme for CA By-Election 2009 conducted by Press Council Nepal for 1 months (1st March-30 June 2008). In this Programme Financially Supported by Election Commission . My working duties was  Co-ordinating Media Monitoring Staffs, Daily Reporting to the Election Commision, Preparing Final Report, Regular checking the accuracy of data in the database, Regular Co-ordinating media monitor the field etc.

 

Media Monitoring for CA Election, 2008

I worked as a IT/Network Specialist in Media Monitoring Programme (MMP) 2008 for CA Election conducted by Press Council Nepal for 4 months (19 March-6 May 2009). In this Programme Technical Supported by USAID and Financial Supported by DFID / OSI. My working duties was  Designing, developing and maintaining the database to store data produced during the analysis phase, Controlling, supervising Network/Internet & data entry, Regular checking the accuracy of data in the database, Regular production of statistical reports, Installing, maintaining and managing hardware, software, computers and peripherals

 

Press Council Nepal
I am working as an IT Officer. I was invoking as an IT/Newspaper Digitally Archieving incharge since 1997 to till-date. My working criteria is 1) Co-ordinating IT Section, Co-ordinating CDROM Project ( Newspaper Digitally Archieving into CDROM) only one newspaper preserving and archieving project under the Press Council Nepal., Design and Update Council's Website. ,Up-todate all computer system, hardware, sowftware. All Computer related works.

I worked as a Web Designer/Developer (Part-Time) since 29 May 2002-May 2005.

I worked as a Page Designer/Computer Operator (Night Shift) since 15 Jan 2001 to 14th March 2002.

I was working as a Computer Officer in this Office since April 14, 1995 to September 16, 1996. My duty was Monitoring, supervising the Computer Department, Prepare production plan, Co-ordinate computer related staffs etc.

I was working in this organization as a Computer Assitatnt cum Computer Accountant since April 15, 1991- December 31, 19954. My duty was Handle Computer Accounting Software, Entry daily voucher, preparing account in computer.Computer typing, Finalize Monthly account of group of companies.etc.

I worked as a Computer IInstructor (Part-Time) since January 16, 1997 to March 12, 2000. I teach in this institution Computer Software and Programming.

 

Computer Links Pvt. Ltd.
I was a Computer Instructor/Desktop Publishing Supervisor since April 27, 1996 to December 15, 1997. In this Institution i was teaching computer software, packages and supervising the desktop unit.

 

Computer City
I was a Computer Instructor since July 1, 1995 to May 24 1996. In this Institution i was teaching computer software, packages and programming language.

 

Dorji Boarding High School
I was a Computer Science Teacher for grade 6-10. I work in this school since February 18, 1994 to December 31, 1995.

Writing/Publishing

Wrote an Article "Sambidhan Sabha Up-Nirwachan ma Media Anugaman" in SAMITA Journal published by Press Council Nepal.

 

Wrote a article in reputed Nepal Magazine-Year 33, Issue 3, 2059-60
Tittle-"Patrapatrika Samrachhan ma CDROM ko Prayog" published by Department of Information.

 

Wrote a Computer text hand book "Windows 98 with Office 97" in English and Nepali version published by Techno-Links Pvt. Ltd.
